1-4

1^st couple cross and cast off one place. On bars 2 and 3, 2^nd couple cross up to 1^st place.

5-8

1^st couple turn by the left, 1 1/2 times.

9-12

1^st man cast off below 3^rd couple, cross over and cast up to 2^nd place on opposite side; while, 1^st woman cast up above 2^nd couple, cross over and cast off to 2^nd place on opposite side. Meanwhile, 2^nd and 3^rd men change places by the right.

13-16

1^st couple turn by the right, 1 1/2 times.

17-20

1^st man cast up above top couple, cross over and cast off to 2^nd place while 1^st woman cast off below bottom couple, and cast up to 2^nd place to meet her partner in the middle, both facing up. Meanwhile, 2^nd and 3^rd women change places by the right.

21-24

1^st couple dance a half figure of eight up around 3^rd couple

25-28

1^st couple dance a half figure of eight down around 2^nd couple. Finish facing 3^rd couple, ready for a Grand Chain

29-32

3^rd, 1^st, and 2^nd couples dance a partial Grand Chain (start with the 2^nd couple crossing at the bottom; one step per bar for four bars). Finish 2, 3, 1 on own sides.

33-40

All dance “Widdershins” (6 hands round, to the right and back)
